Paint Picks – Be Unique

If you’ve been keeping up with my color picking tips, you’re in for a treat with this one. If not, please read my previous tips!

There are literally thousands of paint colorsBead Rainbow available from the catalogs of almost every business that sells paint. That’s absolutely wonderful when you’re not sure which color you want! Even more wonderful, when you want the absolute perfect color in a room is that most places will color match almost any item you bring them and sell you paint in that exact shade, usually for no extra charge!

Find your favorite color somewhere, bring it with you and get a color nobody else has by ordering outside the catalog!

I have two more color tips for you, check out the next one!

Hi, I really appreciate these posts. I am currently painting room by room with a floor plan that is very open and you can see into each room from each room which makes things interesting. I liked what you said about keeping the kitchen either white or pastel. I was thinking this very same thing and now I know not to go with a connecting color which would probably be a big mistake. Thanks so much!

    Laura,

Thank you for your comment! I’m glad to know someone is making use of my tips, it gives me a reason to write more of them.

Would you be willing to send photos of the finished work? I’m considering a “My Staged Rooms” page, full of reader-submitted photos and stories. I think everyone would like something like that.
