Isn’t technology wonderful?
Friday, April 27th, 2007I don’t know about you, but I think the more advanced computer technology gets, the longer it takes to do a simple task. Take email for example. If I receive an email address back unsent, and I don’t have that person’s phone number or business address, I’m out of luck. I have to then take the old-fashioned route of looking in the phone book under the business name to call and confirm their correct email address. Of course my call goes to their voice mail. I have to wait for a returned call. Then when I send them a new email, their old incorrect address pops up on my screen. How do I delete the old one? Now both show up but the old incorrect one is on top. If I hit the “enter” button without checking the bad one is put on the email. I’m amazed at how much time it takes to do simple administrative tasks.
